A jewelry designer is a professional that comes up with jewelry design ideas. Many of these designers also make their own jewelry as well.

Jewelry designers will often create several different types of jewelry, but some will specialize in designing only certain types. For instance, a designer may only create necklaces or rings. Some designers will only design jewelry for certain events or individuals, like weddings or royalty.

We are currently hiring a full-time Sales Associates in DiamondShop at our Madison Avenue flagship store in New York, NY.

Sales Associates at DiamondShop are dynamic, driven and creative individuals who help turn our customers’ life occasions into celebrations with a timeless gift of fine jewelry. Our Sales Associates engage customers in such a manner as to create a desire for and make our products as relevant, exciting and accessible to as many people as possible every day. We provide training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and skills to help you, our sales professionals, be successful and create a refreshing and uplifting shopping experience for our customers.

Establish and maintain the company’s quality standards; lead the QC department to ensure the quality of DiamondShop jewels.

A Technicians follow through on set processes and ensure adherence to best production practices and product quality standards, as well as monitoring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of product output. Their responsibilities include: perform physical and chemical testing in laboratory, such as Moisture, pH test, Net Weight verification; HACCP checks in the processing line, such as monitoring Critical Control Points, (Metal Detector); analyzing incoming raw ingredients to make sure they meet Company quality standards and specifications; performing Sanitation Audit prior to start of each shift and operational; enforcing all GMP’s, HACCP, and safety policy where appropriate.

Become a Diamond Setter at DiamondShop, set diamonds in earrings, necklaces, pendants, & other jewelry items; repair using hand tools; place items in a vise.

As a staff jeweler at DiamondShop, you will have a major opportunity to work for an established, successful jewelry manufacturer and store, while traveling the US. You will need to utilize your experience in a work environment that will expand your skills as a jeweler, while you achieve personal financial success.
